Description:

Welcome to your new job working the night shift at the Sausage Factory. Your livelihood and the well being of your family now depend entirely on precise control of state-of-the-art smashers that pulverize our organic ingredients into tasty, tender meat treats. It's simple: Smash the right color ingredients with the corresponding colored smasher to fulfill the day's recipes and volume quota and you'll live to work another day. Fail and be sent off to eke out what's left of your drab, meatless existence alone. Sausage Factory is for 1-4 players (multiplayer is played with multiple players stationed around one computer and keyboard).

Instructions:

Left arrow or A - Controls the red smashers. Smash ingredients outlined in red with these.

Right arrow or D - Controls the green smashers. Smash ingredients outlined in green with these.

Down arrow or S - Controls the white smashers (beginning on Day 8). Smash unwanted ingredients (the ones with no outline) with these smashers.

Smash ingredients on the beat for extra points. Smash two or more correct ingredients simultaneously for combo points. Combos are worth even more if you use all the available types of smashers at once.

Smashing the wrong color with the wrong smasher will cost you points, although sometimes it is necessary to get a combo.

Let unwanted ingredients fall into the grinder.

Z/X - Slows/Speeds up the action. It will affect the number of points awarded.

You must meet the minimum point requirement to keep your job and advance to the next level.

Spacebar - Pauses the game.

Tips:

Smashing ingredients with lower-level smashers (closer to the grinder) will multiply the points you get.

Experiment with smashing ingredients on different conveyor belt levels.

Go for big combos. 5x and 6x combos will give you huge point boosts. This will help keep you from getting fired and bringing shame to your family.

Want to continue from whence you left off? Passwords are given on the Today's Recipe/Boss Memo screens at Day 5, 10, 15 and 20.

Playing on Hard will give you more points so you can climb to the top of the adultswim.com leaderboard.

Gather a few friends around your keyboard and try the multiplayer modes for 2-4 players.
